  I had to use the post office three separate times for work purposes while in the area visiting family. I am a weekly user of the post office in Illinois and Indiana. First of all, she does not have regular boxes for purchase. You have to use priority mail flat rate packages if you do not have it already boxed up. They do not accept credit card and when I asked to break $100 bill she snarkily referred me to a sign on the opposite wall that said that they don't do that. On another occasion she asked me (very pregnant) to leave the store and package my product. It took me maybe 37 seconds to complete. I understand that small businesses can have little rules like the no credit card rule but her negative disposition and unwillingness to work with me really pissed me off. There is a pack and ship place located further north on the building. He was very pleasant and broke my $100 bill, knowing that I was going to ship through the post office to save dollars for my company.

  This place should be shut down. If the woman, who acts like she is in charge, owned the United States Post Office, I would say she can treat customers anyway she wants. But she doesn't own the USPS so she needs to clean up her act. She has rules! And a very nasty way of telling you so. This business does not have the knowledge, facilities or the space to be doing USPS business. The real post office isn't very far down the road and they seem to be ok. Lots of friendly help.
